A Message from the Director
Welcome to the Amalgamated Transit Union Canada website.
The ATU represents over 30,000 public transit,
paratransit, inter-city and school bus workers in
Canada. Our membership is characterized by both its
cultural diversity and the diversity of its professions
including driving, maintenance, supervisory, security
and sales.
The ATU is committed to improving the working conditions
and the quality of life for all of its members through
education, training and lobbying.
Our locals are recognized for their community
involvement, effective collective bargaining and
membership representation.
